Not only are we about locking on the Rock by linking to Jesus and to other Christiians, but our job is to reach out to bring other people closer to Jesus. This is the rescue work we are called to over and over in the Scriptures. Jesus is our Hero because He as the Son of God submitted to death for us. Even from the cross he cried, "Father forgive them..." To grow up in Christ is to serve Him by rescuing others from sin. We believe Jesus calls on all of us to be soul seekers by serving others. Thus, we seek to link others to Christ.
We have service projects going on frequently. Check Pressing Matters often. We go to the nursing home every month, as well as other things throughout the year. Check Pressing Matters for the latest.

Service Challenge. We truly want every student in the 3rd through the 12th grade to take the challenge of serving others. As a matter of fact, we kept records throughout last Summer and Falll - so a lot of people have already done a lot of the Service Challenge. Email us or our Ministry Assistant to learn more. Pantry Item. Our youth group has established a food pantry to help people in need. We have an item of the week that we encourage everyone to bring. Our Deacon of Benevolence gets the food to people who need it.

For High School Students. The utlimate service we can give is to help someone learn about Jesus. We are asking High School students to take the Outreach Challenge this year, which is a way to share the Gospel with someone who doesn't know about Christ.
