We must reinforce our hold on Christ, and we need each other to do that. Our experience has been that students (or parents for that matter) who do not plug into the body of Christians don't hang around long.    Rusty's Blog Thoughts

Not only do we seek to link to Jesus by focusing on our relationshp with Him, we also must focus on linking with other Christians. Connecting with others who are following Christ is absolutely necessary. There are a lot of fellowshp activities at Center Road for people of all ages.

 

• Be sure to check Pressing Matters for Devos or other activities that have been scheduled for students.

 

• Winterfest is a great large youth rally that takes place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in February.

 

• UpLift is a real spiritual energy boost that occurs in the summer, but we signup for it earlier in the year.

 

• Our congregation has LIFE GROUPS which meet each week.  We encourage every student and family to be involved! Learn About Life Groups.

 

• Mentoring is a special challenge issued to High School students. We are encouraging every high school student to mentor someone not normally involved in the LTC efforts... all the way through... help them get involved and complete an event! We want every High School student to be a Mentor.

 

• Senior Banquet. Each year our congregation honors our graduating High School seniors at our Senior Banquet.

 

• Ultimate Challlenge for Reinforcement. In addition to the Reinforcement Activities above, we challenge every 3rd-12th grade student to take the ULTIMATE REINFORCEMENT Challenge.
