2011 Mission Trip

 

Is set for June 22-29, 2011.  Our team is smaller than usual, but zealous and excited about the blessing God will provide.

Steve, Sarah, and Jonathan Wagner, Dean & Susan Melcher will be participating on the team, along with Dean's brother-in-law and niece, Ken & Katie Davies, on a team of about 15-20 workers.  It looks like our personal costs will be higher than normal due to the smaller team, so it would really bless our team members if the church here at Center Road could raise $2500 toward the trip.  We so appreciate the help this family has always been to this work, and we look forward to our continued partnership in the gospel as we take the love of Jesus to our friends and family in Honduras.  We trust God to provide for His mission work, so if you are moved by His love to help, please make checks to Center Road Church of Christ with Honduras in the memo line.

Please, above all, pray that God will shine His love through this team to His children in Honduras.

The Indiana Medical and Dental Brigade to Honduras spends 8 days each year on a short term mission to Tegucigalpa and Aguacatal, Honduras.  The team is led by John Luallin, an elder at Lindberg Road Church of Christ in Anderson, IN.  It is vitally important to the team that we recognize that this is a work of Jesus Christ among the poor, whom He dearly loves, and He has allowed us to participate with Him in meeting their physical and spiritual needs. 

Activities include Dental and Medical clinics, benevolence, Bible classes for children, construction, and evangelism. 

If you are interested in participating, we can provide the contract, estimated cost, preparation requirements (shots & Passport) and specific dates of the trip. 

If Jesus is calling you, please heed His call and come join us in 2011; the dates this year are June 22-29.
